Maybelline Crushed Candy

Hi guys! I was in Wal-mart the other day and I seen a display of some new nail polish by Maybelline. It's called Color Show. They had a mixture of cream, shimmer, metallic, and even some crackle polishes. They were $2.96 each. I decided to just get one to give it a try.

Crushed Candy, a shimmery sheer hot pink with violet and fuchsia shimmers. This polish really surprised me when I put it on my nail. It's beautiful!

three coats, no top coat
I couldn't get my camera to capture how pretty this polish is. But hopeful you can get an idea. These are very small polishes. They only  have .23 fl oz of polish. That's less than half the amount you get in a regular sized polish. .50 fl oz. Application was good, but for some reason I have no desire to buy more. I'm not sure why. Let me know if you have tried any. I'd love to hear what you think!

NYC City Sweets nail polish swatches

Hi guys! Today I have some swatches of the Nyc City Sweets nail polishes! They are four in the collection, but I only have three. No matter where I went I couldn't find the fourth one. They were all sold out. This is my first time trying Nyc nail polishes. I have to say I'm super impressed! Formula was great, I love the brush, and they are budget friendly! On to the swatches!

They all had really great formula's. They dried pretty quick and the are super shiny. I used three coats and no top coat on all of them.

Peaches and Cream, a peachy orange cream. I really like this one. It is darker than my other of my peach polishes.

City Sweets pink, a light to medium pink cream. When I first saw this one I thought is was going to look just like OPI, Pink Friday, but I was wrong. This is a darker pink. Pink Friday is lighter. Even though I have tons of pinks, I don't have this exact color.

Lavender Cupcake, a lavender cream with a touch of grey. Usually I don't like grey toned purples, but I do like this one!

So over all I love these nail polishes! They are not the most original colors, but I don't have any dupes. If your a nail polish addict then you understand. The slightest difference in color makes all the difference in the world! I welcome them to my collection!

Ancient Greek inspired nail art

Happy May everyone! Today I have this ancient Greek inspired nail art for you. I got Zoya Zuza from the new Surf collection and when I saw it I just thought of Greece and gold. That is where I got my inspiration.Hope you like!

I used Zoya Zuza as my base color. It's a beautifully teal with silver shimmers.
I added some random swirls and dots to look like ancient scrolls or something . I know it looks like a three year old drew it, but I don't care. I like it!
I used a mixture of gold, silver, and rose gold. Revlon Gold Coin, Revlon Metallic, Orly Rage.

Hope you all have a great week!
