Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect

Hello Everyone! Today I have three polishes from Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect. They have been out for awhile so I finally decided to try them out. The formula is perfect! They were really easy to apply. But they are sheer so I had to use three coats. No top coat.

Whisper is a very pale purple that has a tiny pearl finish.

Sea is a pale mint green jelly.

Air is a pale blue with the same pearl finish as Whisper. This one is my favorite!

These are really great polishes! If you like light polishes then you will love these! They add the perfect hint of color!

Essie Bikini So Teeny Collection

Hi guys! I went to Rite-Aid yesterday and was surprised to see that they had the new collection from Essie, Bikini So Teeny.  I picked up three out of six.  I may go back and get one more. For some reason I'm drawn to their polishes! Anyway on to the swatches!

I just have to start by saying how surprised I am at these three polishes. I'm a big fan of Essie, but sometimes they have some bad formulas. And when they are bad, they are real bad. But these three  are amazing! Great job Essie!  On all swatches I did two coats of polish and no top coat.

Bikini So Teeny is a cornflower blue with little tiny shimmers. Sometimes you can see it but most of the time you can't. I still really like it!

After I painted it on my nails I realized that I have some similar colors.

1. Revlon, Dreamer   2. Essie, Bikini So Teeny( BST)  3. Sinful Colors,  Morning Star

Dreamer is just a tiny bit darker than BST, but for the most part it is the same color just with out the tiny shimmers. Morning Star has bigger shimmers that you can see and is darker than Dreamer and BST. These all have great formulas.
Off The Shoulder is a medium hot pink cream. I could not get my camera to photograph the correct color on my nails. Made it look neon. They photos below are more accurate.

I found some similar polishes.

1. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, Presto Pink  2. Essie, Off The Shoulder( OTS )  3. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength, Ruby Sequin

Presto Pink is the perfect dupe for OTS. Ruby Sequin is darker.

Mojito Madness, a true grass green. Cream finish. I don't really like how it looks on all of my nails but, I would love to use it as an accent color. I don't have anything like this one. I'm not really into greens, but something about it just makes me want it!

Overall these are great polishes! If you don't want to spend the $ on Essie go for Revlon, Dreamer and Sally H., Presto Pink. They are great polishes as well!

I just want to thank all of you who follow me and read my blog. Thanks for supporting me!

Glitter, Glitter, and more Glitter!

Happy Friday! So today I wanted to show you some swatches of some of my favorite glitter polishes. I'm going to make it short and sweet so it won't take forever to get through this post. Hope you like!

OPI, Crown Me Already is jammed packed with four different sized silver glitter. Opaque in two coats.

OPI, Teenage Dream is a pink glitter with holographic hexagons in it. Beautiful! Two coats.

Sally Hansen Gem Crush, Big money is hard to describe. It is like a champagne gold glitter with bigger hexagons that look silver but reflects purple. I love this one! Two coats.

Color Club, Magic Attraction is all holographic glitter. It looks so much better in person. If you love glitter and don't have this you need to get it. Two coats.

Claire's, Night Sky is a mix of navy blue glitter and holographic glitter. Two coats.

Essie, A Cut Above is so beautiful! It is a mix of different sized pink shiny glitter. I love it! Two Coats.

China Glaze, Techno is a clear base with tiny silver glitter with big hexagon shaped holographic glitter. The holo really stands out in this polish. One coat of glitter over two coats of L'oreal, jet set to paris.

China Glaze, Fairy Dust a clear base with super fine holographic glitter. It is so much prettier in person than in the photo. It is the perfect glitter just to add to jazz up any manicure!  One coat of glitter over two coats L'oreal, jet set to pairs.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, Set the Stage clear base with small and large gold glitter. I love this one because it just adds a touch of sparkle. Two coats of glitter over one coat of Sinful Colors, Outrages.

I really hope this was useful! I loved to hear your favorite glitter polishes!

New Sally Hansen Diamond Strength swatches!

Hi guys! I was in Rite-Aid yesterday and I seen a display for some new Sally Hansen Diamond Strength nail polishes. All it said was limited edition, no collection name. When I seen them I almost started dancing I was so happy! I picked up 7 out of 8 polishes.
First up is Duchesse Lace, a light khaki color. Has slight shimmers in it, but it still is very creamy. Very easy to apply. I love this polish!

White Veil,  gold glitter with smaller silver glitter in a clear base. The silver almost looks white. It's like a frosty silver. I have never seen a polish like this. I really like it.

Something Borrowed, a sheer jelly pale pink. I thought that I wouldn't like this polish but, I have to say I really do like it. Even though it is sheer it just adds a nice hint of color.

three coats, no top coat

Ring-a-Ding, gold and copper same sized hexagon glitters in a clear base. Has flashes of rose gold. This is beautiful! I love it!
base: Something Borrowed, top: Ring-a-Ding

Garter Toss, a pale mint green. Cream finish. This is my favorite mint green of the spring! It's more pale than any others I have.

three coats, no top coat

Let's Dance, same size silver and aqua hexagon glitter in clear base. What can I say, I like this one too!

base: Garter Toss, top: Let's Dance

I have saved the best for last! Multi-Faceted, black, silver, and holo hexagon glitters in a clear base. It is stunning! My camera doesn't capture how beautiful this is!

base: Duchesse Lace, top: Multi-Faceted

Over all, I really love these polishes! I'm so glad I seen them! If I had to choose just one I would get Multi-Faceted. Ahhh, it gives me the goose bumps! :) Let me know what you think!

Elegant Bridal nail art

Today I have another bridal look for you all. I wanted to go for something soft and elegant. I really like how it turned out!

For my base color I used Revlon Cloud, a pale dusty blue with a hint of lavender. It's a cream finish. Only needed two coats. I decided to have a white accent finger.  I stamped my ringer finger with Cloud and just stamp the rest with white. Konad plate m71

Cherry inspired nail art

Hi guys! Today I have this really cute cherry nail art for you. I wanted to do something brighter than what I have been doing. This has really gotten me in the mood for summer!

For the red base color I used two coats of Nicole by OPI, That's Totally Red-ical. This is my favorite red! It has tiny little shimmers, and it is a dream to apply. For the white I used Sally Hansen Insta-dry, Whirlwind White. I used a thin brush to apply the stripes, and a dotting tool for the cherries. Stripe colors are China Glaze, Lemon Fizz and Kleancolor, TLC. For cherries I used the same red as my base color and instead of using brown for the steams I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, Going Green.
