Nubar Black and White Polka Dot

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been posting a lot lately. We are getting ready to move so I have been really busy. Hoping we will be done in about two weeks. So here is a quick post on two Nubar glitters I got this week from ebay. I sure do love ebay! On to the swatches!

Nubar, Black Polka Dot and White Polka Dot

Black Polka Dot has a clear base with small and large black hexagon glitters. When you brush it own the big glitters don't won't to stay so you kinda have to dab them own. I really don't care because I just love how it looks!

White Polka Dot has a clear base with, what is supposed to be white, big and small hexagon glitters.  I thought they would be a really opaque white. But they are not. They look kinda like a dull frosty light grey. Just like the other one you have to dab on the big glitters. I really don't care for this one. Bummer.

Hope you all are having a great week! Talk to you guys next time!

Elegant Bridal nail art

Today I have another bridal look for you all. I wanted to go for something soft and elegant. I really like how it turned out!

For my base color I used Revlon Cloud, a pale dusty blue with a hint of lavender. It's a cream finish. Only needed two coats. I decided to have a white accent finger.  I stamped my ringer finger with Cloud and just stamp the rest with white. Konad plate m71

Hope you all liked this!

Essie 2012 Wedding Collection Swatches

I have the Essie 2012 Wedding Collection for you all today!  Let me just start by saying that I was surprised by this collection. I thought that they were going to be very sheer polishes. Goods news is they are pretty opaque. Bad news is the formula on all four was hard to work with. The more strokes you do the more bald and uneven spots you get. For that reason they all take at least three coats. Honestly I don't care. I still really like this collection! On to the swatches!

First up we have Instant Hot, a creamy off white with silver shimmers. My favorite of the bunch! It is the perfect bridal color! The silver shimmers looks kinda dull on the nail, but I think that is the way it is supposed to be. Very pretty look. My picture doesn't do this polish justice.

Next we have Like to be Bad, a muted peachy pink with orange and magenta shimmers. The shimmers don't really show up on the nail, but still very pretty. This would be my second fav.

Third polish is Love & Acceptance, a light muted grey toned lavender. Cream finish. Pretty, but I don't really like grey toned polishes on my ghostly pale skin. This is my least favorite.

The last polish is Who is the Boss, a light muted grey toned blue green. Sometimes it looks more like a muted mint green and sometimes it looks like a muted aqua. Very strange. Cream finish. I actually like this color. I'm happy to have this.

Hope you all like this post. This collection has got me in the mood to do some wedding nail art. I'm going to be doing three different wedding nail looks for the upcoming wedding season!

Nicole by OPI, Kardashian Kolors

So today I decided to do swatches of the 5 colors I have from the Kardashian line from Nicole by OPI. Hope you enjoy!

First up is, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GLAM, sheer white with tiny silver shimmers in it.

IT's all about the glam

In direct sunlight
Has a great formula. Easy to apply. It is sheer so you need three to four coats. I used three coats for swatches.

KIM-PLETELY IN LOVE, light pink with iridescent shimmers.

It has tiny green and blue shimmers. SO beautiful!

Great formula. But this one is sheer too. You need three to four coats. It is worth it. I totally recommend this polish! Love it!

PAPARAZZI DON'T PREACH, peachy nude cream

direct sunlit
Formula is pretty good. Kind of streaky on first coat but evens out on your second. You only need two coats. It's nothing special, but I really like it.

ONE BIG HAPPY FAME-ILY, light to medium purple with silver shimmers.

I thought that I was really going to like this color but I don't. It just looks like purple with specks in it. Not for me. Has great formula. Need two to three coats.

RAINBOW IN THE S-KYLIE, rainbow glitter, has small round glitters with bigger hexagon glitters.

It's a pretty glitter. This is one thick coat. It reminds me of birthday confetti. Wet'n'wild also makes a glitter polish that looks very very similar.

Well that all for now, hope you liked it. Let me know what you think.
Have a Great Day!
