Pretty and Polished Girls Only

Pretty and Polished is an Indie nail polish brand that I'm sure most of you know about. Chelsea is the creator and you can purchase her polishes at her etsy store . She opened up shop about two weeks ago and in a matter of a hour she was sold out! I had been checking all day for her to open up and I missed it! I was so bummed. But luckily a couple of days later she listed some minis for sale and I was able to get two of them. They are not the ones that I was originally hoping for but I'm so glad I got them!  Today I have one of them for you!

Girls Only has a clear base with a slight purple tint to it. It also has a mixture of blue, purple, and pink glitters. I wasn't sure how I was going to like this but, I absolutely love it! It is super fun and I love the big blue hexagons! For my base color I used two coats of Zoya Heather. I think it's the perfect match!

Cute Summer Pedicure!

Hi Guys! I have a really cute post for you today featuring my 3 year old Piper!  Every since she was a baby I tried to paint her nails. I would sneak and try to do it while she was asleep. That really didn't work. Now she wants me to paint her nails! Even though she will pick it off in an hour I still love to do it.

She wanted me to do her toes so I decided I was going to go all out. She picked the color. Fingerpaints Wharhol Wannabe. I know I have already shown this to you guys but how could I say no ?! I used Konad plate m75 and stamped with Konad white polish. For the flower center I used just a drop of nail glue to add the rhinestones. I wanted to make sure it wouldn't easily come off. After I was done she wanted me to take some pictures. Once again how could I say no?!

Hope you liked this cute little post! Talk to you guys later!

Lush Lacquer Review and Swatches

Hello everyone! I have an awesome post for you guys today! I found this indie brand called Lush Lacquer that makes some really great handmade polishes! It is made by a mother and daughter team. They are 3 free. You can find them at their Etsy store. I bought five of their polishes. These are mini bottles, but you can also buy big bottles. Let's get to the swatches!

Hottie Tottie

Hottie Tottie has tiny purple glitters with holographic aqua and silver big hexagon glitter. I used three coats but you could get away with just two coats. This is a super fun polish!

Spring Fling
Spring Fling has different shapes and sizes of green, pink, gold, and sliver glitters in a pink base.  I used two coats. With my skin tone it looked more coral and the green glitters just stood out. I love it! It really does make me think of spring.

Dreamsicle

Dreamsicle has fine holographic glitter, silver holographic bar glitter, and blue holographic hexagon glitter all in a pale blue base. Two coats. This is a dream! You really have to see this in person to appreciate how pretty this is.

Birthday Cake
Birthday Cake is full of different colored bar and small round glitter in a milky white base. There is also some holographic sliver hexagons that adds a beautiful sparkle! I'm in love with this polish! It looks just like icing with sparkly sprinkles! Two thick coats.

Chubby Checker

Chubby Checker has different shapes and sizes of black and white glitters in an iridescence pink base. This is my favorite! I love the square glitter! It is just so different. I'm gonna have to buy a full size bottle of this. Two coats.

They all were really easy to apply. Opaque in 2 or 3 coats. I really loved all of them, but Chubby Checker and Birthday Cake are my favorite. You can purchase mini or full sized bottles. So go check them out! Lush Lacquer. I'd love to hear which one is your favorite!

Penelope, a pale baby pink creme. Opaque in two coats. I just think it looks very classy and clean.

Jessica, a light soft blue creme. This baby is opaque in one coat! The formula is thick but it is not bad. I really love this color!

Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect

Hello Everyone! Today I have three polishes from Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect. They have been out for awhile so I finally decided to try them out. The formula is perfect! They were really easy to apply. But they are sheer so I had to use three coats. No top coat.

Whisper is a very pale purple that has a tiny pearl finish.

Sea is a pale mint green jelly.

Air is a pale blue with the same pearl finish as Whisper. This one is my favorite!

These are really great polishes! If you like light polishes then you will love these! They add the perfect hint of color!

Essie Bikini So Teeny Collection

Hi guys! I went to Rite-Aid yesterday and was surprised to see that they had the new collection from Essie, Bikini So Teeny.  I picked up three out of six.  I may go back and get one more. For some reason I'm drawn to their polishes! Anyway on to the swatches!

I just have to start by saying how surprised I am at these three polishes. I'm a big fan of Essie, but sometimes they have some bad formulas. And when they are bad, they are real bad. But these three  are amazing! Great job Essie!  On all swatches I did two coats of polish and no top coat.

Bikini So Teeny is a cornflower blue with little tiny shimmers. Sometimes you can see it but most of the time you can't. I still really like it!

After I painted it on my nails I realized that I have some similar colors.

1. Revlon, Dreamer   2. Essie, Bikini So Teeny( BST)  3. Sinful Colors,  Morning Star

Dreamer is just a tiny bit darker than BST, but for the most part it is the same color just with out the tiny shimmers. Morning Star has bigger shimmers that you can see and is darker than Dreamer and BST. These all have great formulas.
Off The Shoulder is a medium hot pink cream. I could not get my camera to photograph the correct color on my nails. Made it look neon. They photos below are more accurate.

I found some similar polishes.

1. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, Presto Pink  2. Essie, Off The Shoulder( OTS )  3. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength, Ruby Sequin

Presto Pink is the perfect dupe for OTS. Ruby Sequin is darker.

Mojito Madness, a true grass green. Cream finish. I don't really like how it looks on all of my nails but, I would love to use it as an accent color. I don't have anything like this one. I'm not really into greens, but something about it just makes me want it!

Overall these are great polishes! If you don't want to spend the $ on Essie go for Revlon, Dreamer and Sally H., Presto Pink. They are great polishes as well!

I just want to thank all of you who follow me and read my blog. Thanks for supporting me!

Nubar Black and White Polka Dot

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been posting a lot lately. We are getting ready to move so I have been really busy. Hoping we will be done in about two weeks. So here is a quick post on two Nubar glitters I got this week from ebay. I sure do love ebay! On to the swatches!

Nubar, Black Polka Dot and White Polka Dot

Black Polka Dot has a clear base with small and large black hexagon glitters. When you brush it own the big glitters don't won't to stay so you kinda have to dab them own. I really don't care because I just love how it looks!

White Polka Dot has a clear base with, what is supposed to be white, big and small hexagon glitters.  I thought they would be a really opaque white. But they are not. They look kinda like a dull frosty light grey. Just like the other one you have to dab on the big glitters. I really don't care for this one. Bummer.

Hope you all are having a great week! Talk to you guys next time!
