Misa Precious Moments Swatches

Hi guys! So today I have some swatches from Misa's latest collection called Precious Moments. Not the most original name but not bad. I only picked up three out of six. So let's get started!

Let me go ahead and say that all three applied amazing! I'm so impressed! These are my first Misa polishes.

Someone Like You, a really nice nude. I like this because it's not the yellowy type of nude. Two coats. I love this one!

Pinky Promise, a beautiful pale pinky nude. Cream finish. Two coats. This is my favorite! It just makes my nails look pretty.

Bed of Roses,  a gorgeous pink jelly. I used three coats. It is super shiny.

Over all I'm really happy to have these colors! And I will defiantly be buying more Misa polishes!

Barbie inspired nails

Happy Friday! Today I have some nail art for you. I was digging around in my stash and I came across this glitter polish by Wet n Wild, Diamond in the Rough. I believe it came out around Christmas. I new that I wanted to you it then I seen  one of my daughter's barbie dresses. That is what inspired me to do these nails. Barbie and glitter! Hope you like!

For my pink base color I used Sinful Colors Cream Pink. It is a cream but it has gold shimmers in it. Two easy coats.

On the rest of my fingers I just put a basic black for my base color. Then added two coats of Wet n Wild Diamond in the Rough to my index and ring fingers.

For my roses I used Revlon Metallic.
I smeared my stripes when I applied my top coat. Ahhh I hate when that happens. By baby was about to wake up from her nap so I was a little impatient.

For a final touch i added some rhinestones to the center of my roses.

Purple Necklace inspired nails

Hey guys! Today I have this pretty purple mani for you. In case you didn't know, I am pink obsessed. So I here lately I have been trying to get away from pink. I decided to go with purple. So on my quest for my perfect purple I came across these two colors, Revlon Flirt and China Glaze Gothic Lolita. I decided to put them together. I was looking at necklaces on Etsy and it hit me that I wanted my nails to have a necklace. So that's what I was trying to go for. Hope you all like it!

For my base color I used Revlon Flirt. It's a beautiful purple pink cream. I used two coats. It was a breeze to apply. I love this color!
For my dots I used China Glaze Gothic Lolita. It's a medium to dark purple with pink shimmers. It's so pretty!
Then in my dots I added some small glitter that I got at Michael's. Raspberry for my big dots and Muse for my smaller dots.

What is your favorite purple?

Sinful Colors Luminary and Morning Star

Hi guys! I went to my local Walgreens the other day and picked up two new polishes from Sinful Colors. I love Sinful Colors! They really have some great polishes and best of all they are $1.99!

                                                                   Luminary

Luminary, a beautiful peachy orange with tiny silver specks. I absolutely love this color! I don't have anything like this. It was a breeze to apply. I used three coats, but you could probably just do two.

Julep Niecy and Alicia

Today I have two Julep polishes for you. Let me start by saying I really like Julep polishes, but I have a couple of issues. I don't like the bottle design. It is nice to look at, but you have to hold it when you are dipping your brush down in their. If you don't it could easily fall over. Because the brush is so long polish will gather on the stick and make to much polish go on your nail. Just make sure you wipe off the access. Then there is how much product you get. You only get 8ml, .27 fl oz.
Still, I do love them! I just can't help it!

Alicia
two coats, no top coat

Alicia, a peachy salmon, cream finish. Formula is thick, and shiny. Applied really well.

                                                                            Niecy
two coats, no top coat

Niecy, a bright fuchsia pink. Has cream finish. This was a dream to apply! So shiny!

I really love both of these colors! You can buy these at julep.com, and they are now available at sephora.com. $14.

New Sally Hansen Diamond Strength swatches!

Hi guys! I was in Rite-Aid yesterday and I seen a display for some new Sally Hansen Diamond Strength nail polishes. All it said was limited edition, no collection name. When I seen them I almost started dancing I was so happy! I picked up 7 out of 8 polishes.
First up is Duchesse Lace, a light khaki color. Has slight shimmers in it, but it still is very creamy. Very easy to apply. I love this polish!

White Veil,  gold glitter with smaller silver glitter in a clear base. The silver almost looks white. It's like a frosty silver. I have never seen a polish like this. I really like it.

Something Borrowed, a sheer jelly pale pink. I thought that I wouldn't like this polish but, I have to say I really do like it. Even though it is sheer it just adds a nice hint of color.

three coats, no top coat

Ring-a-Ding, gold and copper same sized hexagon glitters in a clear base. Has flashes of rose gold. This is beautiful! I love it!
base: Something Borrowed, top: Ring-a-Ding

Garter Toss, a pale mint green. Cream finish. This is my favorite mint green of the spring! It's more pale than any others I have.

three coats, no top coat

Let's Dance, same size silver and aqua hexagon glitter in clear base. What can I say, I like this one too!

base: Garter Toss, top: Let's Dance

I have saved the best for last! Multi-Faceted, black, silver, and holo hexagon glitters in a clear base. It is stunning! My camera doesn't capture how beautiful this is!

base: Duchesse Lace, top: Multi-Faceted

Over all, I really love these polishes! I'm so glad I seen them! If I had to choose just one I would get Multi-Faceted. Ahhh, it gives me the goose bumps! :) Let me know what you think!

Today I have another bridal look for you all. I wanted to go for something soft and elegant. I really like how it turned out!

For my base color I used Revlon Cloud, a pale dusty blue with a hint of lavender. It's a cream finish. Only needed two coats. I decided to have a white accent finger.  I stamped my ringer finger with Cloud and just stamp the rest with white. Konad plate m71

Cherry inspired nail art

Hi guys! Today I have this really cute cherry nail art for you. I wanted to do something brighter than what I have been doing. This has really gotten me in the mood for summer!

For the red base color I used two coats of Nicole by OPI, That's Totally Red-ical. This is my favorite red! It has tiny little shimmers, and it is a dream to apply. For the white I used Sally Hansen Insta-dry, Whirlwind White. I used a thin brush to apply the stripes, and a dotting tool for the cherries. Stripe colors are China Glaze, Lemon Fizz and Kleancolor, TLC. For cherries I used the same red as my base color and instead of using brown for the steams I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, Going Green.

Hope you all liked this!

Glamorous Bridal nail art

Hi Guys!
So today I have my first nail look for brides. This is for the bride who wants to sparkle and shine but not be to dramatic. Hope you like!

I used three polishes. Pure Ice Nasty Girl, a sheer white shimmery metallic with a hint of pink. China Glaze Fairy Dust, a fine holo glitter. Color Club Magic Attraction, a medium sizes holo glitter.

First I applied Nasty Girl with a cosmetic sponge starting a little bit above my cuticle, using a dabbing motion. I did this three or four times staring a little above where I started the time before to make a gradient effect. Then I used Fairy Dust with the sponge the same way I did the first polish only doing it twice. Lastly I used Magic Attraction on the very tips of my nail with sponge. After it dried added my top coat.

I really love how this turned out. This would look so good on long nails. You don't have to be a bride to wear this. I'm going to be rockin this at the grocery store! lol! Let me know what you think :)
