Nubar Baby pink, Strawberry, Champs-Elysees Pink Swatches

Hello Ladies!
Today I have some Nubar swatches for you. This was my first purchasing Nubar polishes. And I most say I'm in love with them.

They all are pinks. I LOVE pink polishes. What can I say, I'm such a girl :) Anyway I'm still trying to find my perfect pink. To be honest I don't think I ever will.

Baby Pink

Baby Pink is a light pink with a hint of peach in it. Good in two coats. If  you think OPI 's mod about you , is a little to stark, and cooled tone for you, then this would be a great option.

Strawberry

Strawberry is a pretty pink jelly with a hint of purple in it. It is really opaque for a jelly. Super shiny, great to work with. Love it!
Strawberry is a part of their spring 2012 line.

Champs-Elysees Pink

Champs-Elysees Pink is a soft pink with a teeny tiny bit of shimmer. It reminds me of OPI's Italian Love Affair, without the pearl. I like nubar's much better. Great formula. I would use 3 coats with this polish.

Essie, to buy or not to buy

Happy Friday! Today I have a polish from Essie's spring 2012 collection. It's called, to buy or not to buy. It's a pale lilac with BEAUTIFUL shimmers in it.

The only thing is the  shimmers don't really show up on the nail. Bummer, that was why I liked this polish so much. Anyway, I was in Sally's yesterday and I seen this shimmer, glitter polish by Orly called, love each other. It was so pretty I just had to have it. :)

Orly ,love each other, is this beautiful purple and pink shimmer in a clear base. When you add this on top of the essie polish it just makes it so pretty. I love it!

Nicole by OPI, Kardashian Kolors

So today I decided to do swatches of the 5 colors I have from the Kardashian line from Nicole by OPI. Hope you enjoy!

First up is, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GLAM, sheer white with tiny silver shimmers in it.

IT's all about the glam

In direct sunlight
Has a great formula. Easy to apply. It is sheer so you need three to four coats. I used three coats for swatches.

KIM-PLETELY IN LOVE, light pink with iridescent shimmers.

It has tiny green and blue shimmers. SO beautiful!

direct sunlight

Great formula. But this one is sheer too. You need three to four coats. It is worth it. I totally recommend this polish! Love it!

PAPARAZZI DON'T PREACH, peachy nude cream

direct sunlit
Formula is pretty good. Kind of streaky on first coat but evens out on your second. You only need two coats. It's nothing special, but I really like it.

ONE BIG HAPPY FAME-ILY, light to medium purple with silver shimmers.

I thought that I was really going to like this color but I don't. It just looks like purple with specks in it. Not for me. Has great formula. Need two to three coats.

RAINBOW IN THE S-KYLIE, rainbow glitter, has small round glitters with bigger hexagon glitters.

It's a pretty glitter. This is one thick coat. It reminds me of birthday confetti. Wet'n'wild also makes a glitter polish that looks very very similar.

Well that all for now, hope you liked it. Let me know what you think.
Have a Great Day!

Spring Flower nail art

Happy Monday!
So for today I wanted to do something fun and spring like. So this it what I came up with. I hope you enjoy!

I used Essie mint candy apple on my ring finger and thumb. Orly lollipop on the rest of my nails. Two coats with both colors. Both of them are creams. Mint candy apple is on the thick side and was streaky but evened out with second coat. Lollipop is thick too but applied so much better the mint candy apple. For the flower I used acrylic paint by Folk Art in the color, baby pink. I used rhinestones for the centers.  You can't really tell, but I put a dot of lollipop in center of flower then added the rhinestone on top. Then I just added my top coat.

I really hope you liked this! Let me know what you think!

My first post, Zoya Erika

Hi Everyone! So this is my very first post. So sorry if it sucks :) Anyway, I started this blog to share my love for makeup and nail polish. Mostly nail polish. I hope to fill it with swatches, nail art, and some makeup reviews.
So for my very first post I decided to show case a Zoya nail polish called Erika. I love this nail polish and it is my name! Cheesy, yes but a great polish.

It is a light baby pink with tiny gold shimmers. So PRETTY! My pictures are not that great, but hopefully you can get an idea. Practice makes perfect right!?

This is a semi sheer polish. I did three thin coats and added revlon quick dry top coat. It has a very good formula. Easy to apply. Picture does not do this polish justice. I've got to work on my photo skills. There is a fine gold shimmer in this polish, it is visibly on the nail just not in this picture.

The flash of gold shimmer you see in the bottle does show up on your nail. Very pretty! It's not the most unique polish avalible but it's girly, femine, and has a touch of something special.

Hope you all liked my first post. I will work on better pics. Thanks for reading!

xoxo Erica
